we see ourselves in perfect lines / a darkness grows in which we shine inside our hearts we keep confined / atrocities to which we're blind remember when you told your lie? / realities through shattered time you thought you had the perfect crime / a tragedy you found that night a hundred brains, a thousand minds / attempt to wait, uncoil, unwind their thoughts they break, their id untwined / and in that dark you found the light we see ourselves above the grime / apocalypse has changed our minds within our hearts, a thirteenth chime / a darkness grows and blurs our lines we see ourselves in perfect lines / a darkness grows in which we shine inside our hearts we keep confined / atrocities to which we bind unlike her to weave so beautifully through limeless grasses taller her excitement afterglow can scribe with greater care befalls her so wrongly assumed what consumed hath the world entice arrangement threat unthinly veiled against what coil uncoiled to form our perfect lines ... perfect lines ... which we shine ... will to find ... which we're bliiiii~ remember when you told your lie? / realities through shattered time you thought you had the perfect crime / a comedy surrounds that night a hundred days, a thousand nights / the valleys quake, they twist and wind and in their wake, a path defined / that in their dark you'd find the light we thought we lived our perfect lives / a part of someone's grand design consume their thoughts, decry divine / devour the dark and blur our lines

about

there exists a continuum, approaching infinity.

it divides into two lines, two systems. one line, the alliegance, enjoys false prosperity under its deific asymptote, which it defends unquestioned. the other line, the pollutant, is commanded by an unseen force to dethrone the asymptote. for ages, these two lines would conflict, considering themselves parallel. never flinching, no progress being made in either direction.

until, at a particular intercept, the lines realize they are not as perfect as previously thought. catalyzed by an unseen event, the two lines had begun to converge.

tensions rise. some pollutant try to maintain their lines, to approximate their former identity. some alliegance begin to reflect, seeing the two sides as mirrors of each other.

conflict culminates. an outburst from two sides in chorus, seeing their perfect lines as illusions constructed by the asymptote. they rebel, coordinating to overrun the asymptote, apparently destroying it in the process. its strained outbursts are familiar yet unfamiliar, known yet unknown, appearing parallel yet still they converge.

a discontinuity appears. the limits of the asymptote had been found, so thought the lines. they want to apotheosize, to transform the continuum, to escape from it. but something isn't right. perhaps all this, too, had been planned by the asymptote. perhaps there was never a way to truly converge.

there exists a new continuum, approaching infinity.
